Septic Vault Cover and Cleanout

Septic Vault – Every septic tank has different type and size of septic vault cover, some are square and sometimes circle as shown in the picture below but it will serve the same purpose, as access to septic tank for removing waste water and sludge.

The most ideal size of septic vault cover is 24 inches x 24 inches, this is because the septic personnel will go in the septic tank, to clean and remove accumulated slugged over the years.

Septic Vault must have one or two steel handle for easy and fast opening of the septic tank.

Septic Clean-out – Plastic PVC is used for septic service outlet in order to sip waste waster without opening the septic vault cover. In this type of PVC, we suggest to use 4 inches size of PVC clean-out as shown in picture below. Mos of the local septic haulers used 2/12 to 3 inches of petroleum hose as their standard size for siphoning. We suggest to use teplon tape to avoid leakage of the septic tank.
